new writing | dramaturgy | storytelling
I am a dramaturg and theatre maker who specialises in new writing, working with playwrights with rigour, truthfulness, imagination, and play. Since training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, most of my work has been either devised and part-written or new writing and I have judged film and script-writing competitions for a variety of institutions.
I love work that is feminist, with a majority female/non-binary cast, has strong physical or devised components, and leans towards the gothic. Early-stage is fine.
If you have a script that you’d like some support with, or are looking for dramaturgical support for work in development, then please get in touch.

As script reader, offering dramaturgical support, I have worked with numerous playwrights, including Zoë Bullock, winner of Playwrights’ Studio New Playwrighting Award 2021, and Charlie Ward, currently developing a play for BBC Radio Scotland.
